Test of Mathematics for University Admissions (TMUA)

At Warwick the TMUA is required for:

  • Computer Science

  • Computer Science with Business Studies

  • Discrete Mathematics

  • Economics

  • Economics, Politics and International Studies

  • Economics and Management

  • Mathematics

Meanwhile TMUA is optional for:

  • Mathematics and Statistics

  • Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics

  • Data Science

There are some exceptions for students eligible for contextual admissions, for some subjects.

Where the test is optional, Warwick state that applicants will not be disadvantaged, as there will be other ways for them to meet the entry requirements.
